Porcelain veneers near the Design District,
quiet changes, carefully matched.

Porcelain veneers near the Design District start at $999 per tooth at Prana Dental, a 5 to 10 minute drive south on Biscayne Blvd or NE 2nd Ave, depending on traffic. People who work in fashion, luxury retail and galleries tend to want something specific: a smile that looks better without looking done. Dr. Aakash Rana, DDS plans that kind of restrained result on a digital smile preview, and our in-house lab crafts each veneer.

Beginning at $999 per tooth. A subtle case often involves only a few teeth; your exact figure is written down before treatment.

An eye for detail, applied to your smile

The Design District, around NE 38th to 42nd Street near NE 2nd Ave, is luxury shops, showrooms, galleries and ICA Miami, right beside I-195. The people who work here spend their days judging proportion, finish and color for a living. They notice when something is overdone, and they usually don't want their teeth to be the first thing a client notices.

So the brief we hear most is restraint. Close a small gap. Soften one darker tooth. Even out two edges that wore at different rates. Shifts on the sales floor often run into the evening, which is why our hours (Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm) tend to matter here.

Getting here from the Design District

Head south on Biscayne Blvd or NE 2nd Ave to NE 30th Street; it's usually 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic. Coming from farther away, I-195 meets Biscayne near NE 36th Street, a few blocks north of the office. Our suite is 703 at 3050 Biscayne Blvd, and both building parking and street parking are options.

A rideshare can leave you right at the building entrance on Biscayne. Metrobus routes run along the boulevard (see the GO Miami-Dade Transit app for current routes and times), and Citi Bike Miami has stations around the city.

How a subtle result is planned

Matching one or two veneers to natural teeth is often harder than doing a full row, because the porcelain has to sit next to enamel with its own translucency, texture and tiny color shifts. It takes careful shade work and, at times, more than one try. Having the lab in our office means shade and shape notes go straight to the people making the porcelain, and a remake or tweak doesn't involve mailing anything away.

The process starts with your free first visit: an exam, a 3D scan and a digital smile preview. We use the preview to look at proportions against your face and lips and to agree on how much change you actually want. Sometimes the answer is treating the two front teeth together for symmetry; sometimes it is one veneer, or bonding, or simply whitening.

  • Bring photos of smiles you like and smiles you don't; the contrast helps us read your taste.
  • Look at the trial or temporaries in daylight and under the lighting you work in.
  • Say so if something feels too long, too white or too even. Small changes are easier before bonding.

Who should and shouldn't get veneers

Veneers often suit adults with healthy gums and solid teeth whose concerns are cosmetic. Untreated decay or gum disease comes first, and porcelain isn't a shortcut around it. Clenching or grinding raises the risk of chips, so a night guard may be recommended. A tooth with a big old filling or a crack may be better restored with a crown, and noticeable crowding might call for straightening before any porcelain.

Traditional veneers typically require trimming a thin layer of enamel, which is generally irreversible. In some subtle cases, minimal-prep veneers may need little or no trimming, for example when a tooth is small or sits slightly back. That is a clinical call based on your teeth, and Dr. Rana will tell you which approach your scan supports.

Keeping them looking natural

Porcelain veneers can last many years, but the lifespan isn't fixed; grinding, bite forces and home care all affect it. Floss daily, keep regular cleanings, and avoid biting hard things like ice or clothing tags. Porcelain holds its color while natural teeth can slowly darken, so if you ever whiten, discuss it with us first to keep everything matched.

What it costs and how to pay

Porcelain veneers near the Design District begin at $999 per tooth, and subtle cases often involve fewer teeth. Financing at 0% on approved credit is offered through CareCredit, Cherry and LendingClub (details on financing). Dental plans commonly exclude purely cosmetic work, so coverage for veneers may be small or nil; we check your benefits for you. Read more on our porcelain veneers page.

Questions, answered

Can I get just one or two veneers that blend with my natural teeth?

Often, yes, though a single veneer is one of the harder things to match. It takes careful shade selection and sometimes an extra try-in. Our in-house lab makes those refinements more practical.

Can I come for veneer visits after a retail shift in the Design District?

Yes. We're open Monday to Saturday until 8pm, so evening appointments are possible. Call or text (786) 579-0521 and tell us when your shift ends.

How do you keep veneers from looking obviously fake?

We plan shade, length and shape against your face on a digital smile preview, and in many cases you can wear a trial version before the final porcelain. Choosing a natural shade and keeping changes modest helps. You approve the look before anything is bonded.

Do I need to change many teeth to get a subtle result?

Not necessarily. A subtle case may involve only one to four teeth, and some concerns are better solved with bonding or whitening. Dr. Rana will recommend the smallest change that meets your goal.

How long is the drive from the Design District to Prana Dental?

Usually about 5 to 10 minutes south on Biscayne Blvd or NE 2nd Ave, depending on traffic. The office is at 3050 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 703, with building parking and street parking.
