Reaching us from Downtown

From Downtown, Biscayne Blvd runs north the whole way into Edgewater, past the Adrienne Arsht Center and the Omni area; the drive is typically around ten minutes depending on traffic. Without a car, the free Metromover's Omni Loop reaches as far as the Arsht Center/Omni area, with a short rideshare or bus covering the rest of the way north on Biscayne.

Traffic near the courthouse and Flagler Street tends to build up midday, so patients coming from that end of Downtown often plan an early-morning or after-five visit rather than a lunchtime one.

North of the Arsht Center, Biscayne Blvd opens up into a more residential stretch as it crosses into Edgewater, with far less of the stop-and-go that's typical closer to the courthouse and the arena on event nights.

Life around the county core

Downtown Miami is the county and courthouse district, home to the Brightline MiamiCentral station, the Kaseya Center arena, and a growing cluster of condo towers around Bayfront Park. Court calendars and county office hours keep a lot of the workday fixed, which is why early, late, and Saturday appointments tend to matter most for people who work down there.

If your day runs around court sessions or county hours, an early-morning or after-five slot is usually the easiest to plan around. And for anyone commuting through MiamiCentral on Brightline, our office is a short trip off Biscayne Blvd on the way to or from the station.

Downtown's residential population has grown considerably as more of the older office stock has been converted or replaced by condo towers, which means a decent share of the courthouse district's daytime foot traffic goes home to the same general area at night. That overlap between where people work and where they live downtown is fairly recent for this part of Miami.

Hours built around a courthouse schedule

We stay open 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Saturday, and take Sundays off, so an early appointment before court or a Saturday visit doesn't require rearranging a docket. Most major dental insurance is accepted, and 0% financing on approved credit is an option for whatever's left over.

A downtown built around transit

Downtown Miami is one of the few parts of the county where getting around without a car is genuinely practical, between the free Metromover loop, the Brightline station at MiamiCentral, and Metrorail connections into the same hub. Bayfront Park and the Kaseya Center sit right along that transit spine, which is part of why the district stays busy on evenings with games or events.

That same transit-first layout means Downtown's street traffic is a mix of local drivers, buses, and rideshares rather than pure highway volume, which is worth keeping in mind if you're timing the short drive north into Edgewater.

Event nights at the Kaseya Center or a show at the Arsht Center can also add noticeably to street congestion right around the venues themselves, so checking the calendar before a rush-hour appointment on those days is generally a good idea.
