Dental implants in Brickell,
planned around a finance-district calendar.

Finding time for dental implants in Brickell is often harder than deciding to get them, because the workday in the financial district rarely bends. Prana Dental is about 15 to 20 minutes north in Edgewater, open 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, so most implant visits can land before the market opens, after the office clears out, or on a Saturday.

$1,999 and up per implant tooth: post, abutment and crown together. You see the figure for your case on paper before you commit.

Implants on a Brickell schedule

Brickell is dense: condo towers, Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village and the office buildings along Brickell Avenue, where many people live an elevator ride and a short stroll from their desk. Calendars there fill up with client calls and fixed meetings, which is how a missing tooth ends up waiting a year or two for attention.

An implant isn't a single appointment; it's a short series of them. Knowing that up front lets you put the longer visits in a lighter week and save the quick check-ins for busier stretches.

Which visits can fit a lunch hour

  • Usually longer: the first visit and the day the implant goes in. Book these first thing in the morning, in the evening or on a Saturday.
  • Often shorter: a healing check, a scan for the crown and, in many cases, the crown fitting itself. Ask when you book and we'll tell you how long to block.
  • Leave some slack: you may be numb for a few hours after placement, so a long client lunch right afterward isn't ideal.

Getting here from Brickell

By car, the trip usually takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. You can go north on Brickell Avenue, cross the Miami River and stay on Biscayne Blvd up to NE 30th Street, or take I-95 north to I-395 and come off onto Biscayne. Plug in 3050 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 703, as your destination.

Drivers can use the building's parking or find a spot on the street. Metromover's Brickell Loop connects you to downtown, but the system doesn't reach Edgewater, so a rideshare is the simplest car-free choice, with drop-off at the building on Biscayne Blvd. Metrobus routes also run up Biscayne; look up current times in the GO Miami-Dade Transit app.

Who a single or multi-tooth implant is for

A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth with a post in the jawbone, then an abutment and crown on top. It suits adults who lost a tooth to a crack, a failed root canal or decay, and who have healthy gums and enough bone to hold the post. Where two or more neighboring teeth are missing, a pair of implants can usually carry a bridge across the space.

If a front tooth is involved and you'd rather not be seen without it, ask about a temporary tooth during healing. Whether that's possible depends on your bite and how stable the implant is at placement, and Dr. Rana will tell you plainly what's realistic. For the process in more depth, read our dental implants page.

What the visits look like

  • Visit one is free and covers an exam, a 3D scan and a smile preview.
  • When bone has to be measured more closely, Dr. Rana explains which imaging you need and its cost before it's taken.
  • He plans and treats your case himself, and refers anything outside a general practice, such as complex grafting, to an oral surgeon.
  • After a healing period that often runs a few months, depending on your bone and health, your crown is made in our in-house lab and fitted.

Cost, financing and insurance

For one tooth, the starting point is $1,999 with the post, abutment and crown included. Extra steps such as an extraction, a bone graft or sedation are itemized, so you can see what each one adds before you agree to anything.

Prefer not to pay in one go? CareCredit, Cherry and LendingClub offer 0% financing options on approved credit. Most major dental plans are welcome here as well. Employer plans often cap yearly benefits somewhere in the $1,000 to $2,000 range, and some have waiting periods or exclude implants, so we check your benefits for you.

Visits can be in English or Spanish. Call or text (786) 579-0521 to ask about a first appointment.

Brickell implant questions

Can I get a dental implant during my lunch break in Brickell?

Some of the visits can fit a long lunch, such as a healing check or a crown scan. The first visit and the placement take longer, and with a drive of about 15 to 20 minutes each way, those work better early, in the evening or on a Saturday.

How early can I book before work?

Appointments start at 8am, Monday to Saturday. An early slot usually gets you back to Brickell for most of the working day, depending on traffic.

Will I need time off work after implant placement?

Many people return to desk work the next day, though it depends on how involved the placement is and how you heal. Expect a few days of soreness and some swelling. With oral sedation, you'll need someone to take you home and should keep the rest of that day free.

Can I take Metromover from Brickell to the office?

Only part of the way. The Brickell Loop links to downtown, and the Omni Loop ends around NE 15th Street, roughly a mile and a half south of us. A rideshare or a Metrobus up Biscayne Blvd covers the rest.

Will I have a visible gap during client meetings?

For a front tooth, a temporary option during healing is often possible, depending on your bite and the implant's stability. Back teeth rarely need one. Dr. Rana will go over the choices at your first visit.
